plants for municipalities and for private industry. Layne can design and build new water
and wastewater treatment facilites or modify existing plants.
Serving the industrial market, Layne can provide pre–treatment for raw feed water, develop
inhouse treatment and reuse facilities to reduce discharge. For industies that discharge
to municipal treatment plants, Layne can design pre–treatment systems to reduce the volume
of discharge and therefore reduce the resulting demand placed on downstream municipal
facilities. This helps avoid the citations that often accompany inadvertent NPDES permit
violations due to loading of downstream facilities.
